About the artist: Born on September 21, 1937, in the village of Razdolnoye, Primorsky Territory. Graduated from Donetsk Art School (1967). Teachers in the specialty: N. Glushchenko, T. Yablonska. He worked in the field of painting, graphics. Traveling with art groups around the Russian Federation and Ukraine greatly influenced the artist's work. 1999 initiated the creation of the creative group "Donetsk Plein Air". The main industry is easel painting; genres - landscape, still life, thematic painting. A significant place in his work is devoted to the topic of Donbass (1970-1980s). He recreated the image of a modern city, the grandeur of the scale of significant industrial facilities in the Donetsk region. On thematic canvases he comprehensively depicted the environment. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1972). People's Artist of Ukraine (2002). Awarded with the Certificate of Honor of the ICT of Ukraine (2005, 2007). Participated in exhibitions: regional, republican and foreign (since 1966). Personal exhibitions - in Donetsk (1978, 1982, 1990, 1993-1998, 2004-2008), Kramatorsk (1978), Gorlovka (1995, 1997) and Artemovsk (1997), Kiev (1989-1990, 1997, 2007). Major works: "Working Overalls" (1975), "Holiday Donetsk" (1975), "Breath of the Earth" (1983), "Morning at the Mine" (1985), "Donbass - the Land of Coal" (2007), "Prilutsky Monastery" (1966), "Sevastopol Embankment" (1974), "Krasnogvardeyskaya-Kapitalnaya Mine", "State 3600" (1975), "Miners' Change" (1982), "T.
