About the artists: Born April 8, 1908 in Kushva (now the Sverdlovsk Region). Graduated from the Odessa Art Institute (1936). Teachers in the specialty -I. Shovkunenko, T. Fraerman. Member of the CPSU. Member of the Great Patriotic War. He worked in the field of easel painting, easel and book graphics, posters. Major works: cycle of drawings "People of Siberia" (1942 - 1943); a series of portraits of the figures of Ukrainian culture A. Buchmi, V. Naseyan, M. Bozhiy I. Kavaleridze, K. Agnit-Sledzevsky and others. (1943 - 1962); a series of lithographs "Workers of the Sea" (1962 - 1963); poster-poster "State Dance Ensemble of the Ukrainian SSR" (1957); film poster "Child of the Pamirs" (1964) and others. Participated in exhibitions: republican since 1947, all-Union since 1939, foreign since 1963, personal - Odessa, 1940; Kiev, 1962. Awarded with medals. He died in 1993.
